Evening Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I thank Thee for this day, and I thank Thee for Thy presence in it.

Forgive me for not making it a better day.

With Thy help, may I be tomorrow what I have failed to be today.

Be with me as I go to bed and give me peaceful rest.

Prepare me by Thy gift of sleep and that I may be strong and reaady when morning wakens me.

Deliver me from all fear and watch over those I love.
