What is a
Prayer Bowl?

First, how I got started...

I have always been a faithful "prayer person" praying for everybody and everything. All I would have to do is turn on the television, listen to the radio, or open up the newspaper and I would have plenty to work with. I felt compelled to ask God to bless those in their time of "special need."

These days, I don't think anyone would debate the fact that just about every situation you see, hear, or read about, is tumultuous and in need of some urgent petition, and or, "Divine Intervention." It seems to be the nature of things. There's a saying that "no news is good news!" It would appear that our media has turned the adage around into "good news is no news!" is far too remiss in reporting "good news"

Well, the older I got, the more situations presented themselves, as if to say, "Pray for me! Pray for US! We need help too!"

I started asking for God's assistance for all things. I prayed for family, friends, pets, animals, the economy, our personal economies, the world situation, World Peace, floods, volcanos, earthquakes, etc... YIKES!! The list was never ending! There was so many!

Where to find a Prayer Bowl?

I found myself running for the nearest Bowl I could find. But wait... it had to be big enough, to put all my plights and the plights of others into it. I found it and it's a "honey." But, quite honestly, any Bowl that is large enough to house your requests will suffice. You see, it's not the Bowl... it's YOU that makes the good stuff happen!

I termed it... My Prayer Bowl! It was my "Official Supplication Hotline." My link to the Mind of God.

I would write down my prayers. Whatever they were. There was no set limit. I put them all in the Bowl. They each had their own space and I devoted one piece of paper per intention.

Every day I would light a candle and pray over all the intentions in the Prayer Bowl with a firm belief that God would grant the greatest outcome for all concerned. I wouldn't try to tell God how to fix everything... just to fix it for everyone! I would ask God to cause a miracle to happen for every intention in the Prayer Bowl. Only He knew what that miracle should and would be for each situation.

As my system took shape and came to be, I started verbalizing to people that I would pray for them and that I would put their intention in the "Prayer Bowl." I always got joyful and positive response and most always a Thank You.

Miraculous things started happening!

As time went on, miraculous things started happening! God saw the intentions in the Bowl, heard my prayers, and started granting requests! One by one, the people I put in there for healing got better. He sent ideas and new situations to help others. And to others, He sent love and hope to lift them out of their dispair so they could begin moving forward again. He healed pain and suffering.

He was healing and helping my petitioners around the globe and it was all being done from my room! With My Prayer Bowl! From my mind to God's mind and ears!

You might ask, how do I know that? It's simple! Because the stories being related from those he had helped were incredible! No Person, No Team, No Army could have possibly constructed and put into motion the sequence of events necessary to realize the miraculous outcomes being reported. Only the finger of God on the "switch" has that kind of power!

And Jesus said,

"When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to our Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him."  

I have found these words to be a validation that God hears all prayer. Now, I have found My Prayer Bowl to be proof of it! So much so, that, I receive comments from family, friends, co-workers, and associates like, "Don't take me out of the Prayer Bowl yet!!! Wow!

I can tell you from personal experience that it is a joyous honor to have the opportunity to help make others lives a more healthful, peaceful and prosperous existance.
