Prayer for Strength

O Lord,

Thou knowest me, for You did make me.

You know what I can do and You know what I shrink from doing.

You have said that to him who has no might, You will increase strength.

May You be my strength when I am weak of will.

When my tasks are too heavy, lighten my load.

When I am faint of heart, let me know that underneath me are Your everlasting arms.

May I feel Thy power in my weakness.

For Thy name's sake.
