A Prayer of Consecreation to God

O God,

Thou art my Heavenly Father and I have forgotten Thee.

My days have been full of my own pleasures without a thought of what pleases Thee.

Make me see how my negligences grieves Thee.

Stir me to do my best for Thee.

Teach me to pray and to listen for Your voice within.

Help me never to refuse its guidance.

Give me Thy Spirit to help me when I am weak.
