What is a
Thanksgiving Bowl?
Little by little, I found
that the intentions that were being granted needed to be
taken out of My Prayer Bowl and put in a Thanksgiving
Bowl.
This is the bowl that the
"Miracles of Heaven" go into. I
Thessalonians 5:18 "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this
is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
Give thanks to God who gave
the victory. And remember, there are times when God sees things
differently than you. When you know that there is nothing more
you or God can do, visably that is, you put the intention in
the Thanksgiving Bowl anyway as an acknowledgement that He
has seen and He has heard. NO EFFORT EVER GOES IN
VAIN!
I found myself putting many
intentions in the Thanksgiving Bowl and I started burning them
at the Full Moon and the New Moon. The Full Moon symbolizes the
coming together of all the efforts that have been made from the
New Moon to the Full Moon. The New Moon symbolizes "new
beginnings," and what a fitting time for Thanksgiving
intentions to be burnt.
I watch as the fire consumes
the intentions, turning them into smoke-trails
ascending to Heaven. I thank God for the granted petitions
and for the honor he has given me by allowing me to bring
them to Him.
After the intentions are
ashes, I spread them across the ground in front of my Sacret
Heart statue of Jesus that resides in the my yard. It is my way
of saying thank you.
Of course, when it comes to
your very own practice with your Prayer Bowl and your
Thanksgiving Bowl, you can do whatever makes you feel right and
good. Nothing is set in cement. God loves
creativity!
